Prof. Dr. B.H. Briz-Kishore is an academician, educationist, education administrator, scientist, technologist, and above all a thinker who excels in each of these fields exclusively and conjunctively with equally proven distinction.
Presently, Prof. Dr. B.H. Briz-Kishore, is the Advisor to the Govt. of Haryana for its vast Higher Education sector in addition to advising Govt. of India and other State Govts. on several policy issues and the related matters, while holding the Chairmanship of Shris InfoTech Services (Hon.), near ECIL, Hyderabad. Further, for the last ten years, he has been serving as the Chairman of the ICFAI group of branded institutions for its Development Advisory Bureau, which has spread its wings Over Pan India. Prof. Briz-Kishore has published over 100 original research contributions of major significance in journals of international repute in addition to several technical books with practical relevance.
Earlier, Prof. Briz-Kishore held several distinguished positions including as an advisor to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Govt. of India (TM), associated and involved with the highest policy making international bodies like United Nations and UNESCO. Further as a Chairman of the NCRI (National Council of Rural Institutes), Govt. Of India, an Apex Body of the Ministry of HRD, Prof. Dr. B.H. Briz-Kishore was a torchbearer for activating the ‘Gandhian Model of Education’ for greater employability by networking several institutions involved in teaching, training, research, and consultancy. With equally proven ability he was holding the prestigious position as the Member of the University Grants Commission, Govt. of India, New Delhi for two consecutive terms and immensely contributed towards quality higher education and attaining financial self-sufficiency by the Indian Universities.
Prof. Dr. B.H. Briz-Kishore is a prime mover in the design and development of New Education Policy 2020 and actively involved in various policy-making issues in different Ministries including the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Science & Technology, and Labour & Employment Govt. of India towards skill development, entrepreneurship, empowerment of the youth and Women for contributing towards a better society. He has further distinguished himself in leading high-power teams constituted by the Govt. of India, in addition, to being in the committees for selection of the most senior level appointments such as Vice-Chancellors to the prestigious universities and Director Generals of various societies of the Govt. Of India.
On specific invitation from leading experts, Prof. Dr. B.H. Briz-Kishore has also visited several countries around the globe including Australia, USA, Netherlands, and West Germany for sharing the technical know-how. His significant contributions to the progress of human society have won him the most coveted and prestigious national and international awards/citations including the Krishnan Gold Medal, “Young Scientist Award”, Australian Award, Bharat Singh Award, and crowned him with D.Litt. / D.Sc from prestigious National institutions. Adorned with over three decades of innovative contributions in the field of science, engineering, technology, and management. Prof. Briz-Kishore has distinguished himself as an outstanding academician with unprecedented efforts, initiatives, and achievements towards a knowledgeable society by liberating higher education.
